The Centre is developing thanks to the involvement of many people, including academics from the University of Silesia, academics from other universities, and practitioners.
Clothing constructor and expert in garment technology. Since 2010, she has headed the Studio of Clothing Construction and Technology at the Department of Fashion, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. For over 20 years, she has been professionally involved in fashion and costume design. She runs her own tailoring atelier, collaborating with fashion brands, designers, and cultural institutions in Poland and abroad.
She designs costumes for theatres, operas, television productions, and private clients, combining technological expertise with an artistic sense of aesthetics. She has also lectured at the Chongqing Technology and Business University in China and conducted regular workshops on historical costume reconstruction at the National Museum in Warsaw.
Her collaborations include, among others, the Teatr Lalka in Warsaw, the Opera at the Castle in Szczecin, the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk, and the Silesian Opera in Bytom, as well as numerous designers and artists. Her creative work merges craftsmanship precision with artistic experimentation, contributing significantly to the development of Polish fashion and costume design.
