The Centre is developing thanks to the involvement of many people, including academics from the University of Silesia, academics from other universities, and practitioners.
Professor Tomasz Kipka is a distinguished graphic artist, poster designer, and academic lecturer, long affiliated with the University of Silesia, where he serves as a professor at the Institute of Visual Arts, Faculty of Art and Education in Cieszyn. His creative work focuses on graphic design, visual identity, poster art, and editorial graphics.
He is a co-founder of the Studio / Galeria Tecken art gallery, initiator of the international poster exhibition Ekoplakat, and curator of the Jazz in Ruins series. His work combines aesthetics with functionality, earning recognition both in Poland and internationally.
Prof. Kipka integrates professional design experience with a passion for teaching, inspiring students to engage in thoughtful and responsible design. His projects are distinguished by striking form, carefully considered typography, and a strong visual message.
