Justyna Kania, M.A.
PhD Candidate at the Doctoral School of the University of Silesia in Katowice, preparing a doctoral dissertation entitled “Corporate Due Diligence in Value Chains” under the supervision of Dr. hab. Marlena Jankowska-Augustyn, Prof. UŚ, and Dr. Eng. Mateusz Kowalski.
An expert in intellectual property law and sustainable development, she holds a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property Law from the Chair of Intellectual Property Law, Faculty of Law and Administration, Jagiellonian University, and a degree in Art History from the Faculty of Humanities, University of Silesia in Katowice. She also graduated from the Mieczysław Karłowicz State Music School of Second Degree in Katowice.
In 2022–2023, she completed an internship at the Observatory Department of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). As part of a scholarship awarded under the PROM – International Mobility Program for PhD Students and Academic Staff, she undertook a research internship at Poliarte Accademia di Design in Ancona, Italy.
