The Centre is developing thanks to the involvement of many people, including academics from the University of Silesia, academics from other universities, and practitioners.
Attorney specializing in medical law and aesthetic medicine. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Silesia in Katowice and completed postgraduate studies in Medical Law and Bioethics at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. She is a member of the Warsaw Bar Association.
In 2013, she founded her own firm, Seidel Law Office, based in Warsaw, specializing in medical law. She handles civil, criminal, and disciplinary cases related to medical errors and malpractice across Poland. She represents clients in proceedings before the Patient Rights Ombudsman and in mediations concerning compensation claims in aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery.
She is actively involved as a lecturer for the Polish Chamber of Physicians and Dentists and law students. She regularly provides expert commentary for national media, including TVP, TVN, Polsat News, and economic-legal press. She has authored numerous articles for medical and beauty industry publications and is a speaker at scientific conferences on aesthetic medicine, allergology, and orthopedics.
She conducts training sessions and online webinars for physicians and cosmetologists. In 2021, her law firm was awarded the title of “Leader among Law Firms Specializing in Medical Law” at the XV Polish Businesswoman Awards gala.
