The Centre is developing thanks to the involvement of many people, including academics from the University of Silesia, academics from other universities, and practitioners.
Doctor of Laws, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź, in the Department of European Law. Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, she has been affiliated with the Department of Regional Studies at the Branch Faculty of the University of Łódź in Tomaszów Mazowiecki.
She teaches courses both at the Faculty of Law and Administration in Łódź and at the Branch Faculty in Tomaszów Mazowiecki.
Her research and teaching focus on Polish and European economic law, in particular on public procurement law. Her scientific interests also include competition law, environmental law, energy law, and sports law. She established and has led several postgraduate programmes in Public Procurement Law, EU Funds, and Law and Economics.
In 2014, she founded the Centre for Public Procurement and Public-Private Partnership at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź — the only academic centre of its kind in Poland — where she serves as Director.
Her research is interdisciplinary, combining law with other fields such as economics, universal design, art history, culture, fashion, and design. She has participated in numerous research projects funded under Horizon 2020, Interreg, Erasmus, and other EU programmes.
She is a Research Fellow at the prestigious Public Procurement Research Group at the University of Nottingham (UK). She has prepared analyses, expert opinions, and legal reports for the European Commission, the World Bank, business organisations, and law firms.
She is fluent in several foreign languages: English, German, Italian, French, and Russian.
