The Centre is developing thanks to the involvement of many people, including academics from the University of Silesia, academics from other universities, and practitioners.
Doctor in the discipline of law, judge with over twenty years of experience in civil law and intellectual property law. Assistant professor at the Department of Management, Faculty of Organization and Management, Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. Author of more than sixty publications in civil law, civil procedure, and intellectual property law.
In 2005, he defended his doctoral dissertation titled Protection of Trademarks on the Internet at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Silesia; the dissertation was published by Lexis Nexis in 2006 (271 pages). In 2004, he completed the judicial training program, passing the judicial exam. From 2005 to 2019, he served as a judge at the District Court in Chorzów, and since 2019 he has served at the Regional Court in Katowice. Since 1 July 2020, he has chaired the 24th Intellectual Property Division at the Regional Court in Katowice.
He is also a lecturer at the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution, conducting training for advocates, patent attorneys, and trainee patent attorneys.
