Professor José Geraldo Romanello Bueno, Adv.
Brazilian scholar whose academic career spans medicine, law, and philosophy. He graduated in Medicine from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP, 1978–1983) and in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUCCAMP, 1998–2002). He specialized in gynecology and obstetrics, civil procedural law, and water resources management. He holds three Master’s degrees: in Medicine (UNICAMP), Philosophy (PUCCAMP), and Law (Methodist University of Piracicaba). He earned three doctoral degrees — in Medicine (UNICAMP, 1990–1992), Philosophy (PUC-SP), and Law (University of São Paulo, 2017–2019). He completed postdoctoral fellowships in Civil Law at the University of São Paulo (2020–2023) and the University of Coimbra in Portugal (2022–2023). Since 2010, he has been a Professor of Civil Law and Biolaw at Mackenzie Presbyterian University and a member of the Mackenzie Academy of Literature.
