“Fashion and Design in the World of COVID-19”

The Design, Fashion and Advertising Law Center is pleased to invite you to the 2nd National Conference of Fashion Law entitled “Fashion and Design in the world of COVID-19”, which will take place on December 18th 2020 on the Zoom platform.
The conference is addressed to designers, entrepreneurs from the clothing, jewellery and cosmetics industries as well as patent and other attorneys, legal advisers and judges – in short, to all who increasingly encounter topics in the field of fashion and design law, as well as all who are interested in the topic.
The subject of this year’s conference will be divided into three thematic blocks:
- Sustainable Fashion and Intellectual Property
- E-commerce and local production
- Shopping Malls in COVID times: New York, Germany, Poland, Luxembourg.
The conference will feature a special guest as Keynote Speaker: Izabella Laflèche – fashion lawyer in New York, Toronto and Montreal, coach, author of the best-selling novel “J’adore New York”.

extends an invitation for the 5th International Fashion Law Congress

The Center for Design, Fashion and Advertisement Law extends an invitation for the 5th International Fashion Law Congress, which will be held online from Rio de Janeiro on November 9-11, 2020.
Participation in the Congress is free and the sessions will be held in English and Portuguese. Students and applicants are invited to take part in two competitions for:
1) the best fashion law poster and
2) the best print.

The conference
“The law of design and fashion. Product Creation”

The conference is addressed to designers, entrepreneurs from the clothing, jewellery and cosmetics industries, but also to attorneys-at-law, patent attorneys and judges – in short, to all who increasingly encounter topics in the field of fashion and design law, as well as all who are interested in the topic.
The topics discussed at this year’s conference will be divided into two groups of issues: protection in the field of intellectual property rights and valuation of goods and intellectual property rights.
Joanna Jabłczyńska will be Keynote Speaker. The panel of designers will be attended by Ewa Ciepielewska, Paweł Węgrzyn, Joanna Karlik-Knocińska, and Berenika Józefowicz.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. However, prior registration is required. The number of places is limited.
